Music journalism is where it all started. I took a train from Philly to Washington DC to interview Placebo circa ‘Without You I’m Nothing’. I was so nervous I forgot to turn on my dictaphone.
I stuck with it, haunting dive bars I was too young to be in to interview bands like
Mojave 3 and Gomez; writing for 34th Street magazine and stellar indie site Pennyblackmusic.

After learning the rock’n’roll ropes at university I moved to London and worked for
Q “Britain’s Biggest Music Magazine” for five years. I was a regular contributor to Mixmag for seven years; and wrote for Glastonbury Review, Dummy, DJ Mag, Ibiza Now, Notion, Clash, One Week to Live, plus a host of websites, before moving to Ibiza to write & edit at Ibiza Voice.
